Liz Woodward

After leaving a career in communications and information technology, Liz was able to pursue her passion in gardening.  She was a docent at the San Diego Botanic Garden for 17 years and became a San Diego County Master Gardener in 2010.  She has served on the MGASDC Board as President and VP Member Services; she also enjoys working the MG Hotline, Reminiscence Gardening, Garden Art, and the MG special events.  Liz has a Certificate in Landscape Design and worked in the Horticulture Department at MiraCosta College as a teaching assistant for 5 years.  She is well equipped to lead us through our Introduction to Horticulture and Taxonomy class since, not only does she know the scientific names, but she also knows how to spell them!
