For the Gardener on Your Gift List: The 2012 MG Calendar

By Mary James

MAYAugStart the new year for your favorite gardeners with a gift they will use throughout 2012. The MG wall calendar highlights each month with a beautiful photograph taken by Master Gardeners of flowers in bloom in their own gardens. Gardeners here and around the country will enjoy this visual tour of drought-tolerant beauties that thrive in San Diego gardens.

This one-of-a-kind calendar also features monthly sustainable gardening and household tips that make it easier than ever to make those small changes around your home and garden to save time, energy and resources. Helpful resources listed range from the MG hortline to pest control information from UC Davis. Plus holidays and moon phases are included for each month.

The MG 2012 Calendar is printed in full color on 100 percent recycled paper.

DecEach calendar is $11, including tax. Purchase 10 or more and get one calendar for free. Proceeds from calendar sales help fund MG educational and outreach programs on gardening throughout the county.

Calendars can be ordered on line at our web site and paid for by credit card via PayPal. Shipping is extra. Click here to order.
