Dear Gardening Friend:

We have received and processed your request to pre-register in the San Diego Home Gardening Seminar on Saturday April 14, 2007 at the University of San Diego(see map on reverse side). You are enrolled in the classes listed below.

Enrollment in classes was on a first-come-first-served basis. If a class you wanted was filled, you may be able to enroll in it on the day of the seminar if there are openings due to cancellations. If you wish to cancel your registration, you must do so in writing by March 31, 2007 to obtain a refund. A fee of $10 will be retained for processing.

A registration packet bearing your name will be at the registration table in the Foyer of the Hahn University Center Building (See map on reverse). Please check in at 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. or when you arrive. You can pick up a free cup of coffee or tea in the downstairs lobby and grab a sweet pastry for a small donation.

A lunch break is scheduled from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. You can buy lunch at the Hahn University Center in the Main Dining Room ($8.00 buffet) or pick up sandwiches at the Deli. You may also bring a bag lunch or buy food at a nearby restaurant. There are restaurants in Fashion Valley Mall on Friars Road which is at the foot of Linda Vista Road (south), and in Mission Valley Center which is left (east) on Friars Road over Hwy 163 and about 2 blocks south (right)on Mission Center Road. There are also other restaurants to the east along Friars Road, between Hwy 163 and Qualcomm Stadium.

Master Gardeners will not sell their plants at the seminar, but will have a big summer sale on June 16, 2007 in Balboa Park, Room 101, Casa Del Prado. A few seminar speakers and other vendors will sell plants, books, and other items at the seminar during the lunch break. It would be helpful to have small bills and coins or your checkbook if you wish to purchase something. We cannot accept credit cards. We are confident you will enjoy this year’s seminar, and look forward to seeing you there.
